The Premium Butcher is a venture by Dawn Meats, a  new website where households anywhere in Ireland can order meats, sauces and marinades online for convenient home delivery.

An array of the most popular cuts of Irish beef, lamb, pork and bacon are available to order through the website as well a number of premium dry aged cuts of beef from steaks to rib joints. 

As always the entire range of meats available to buy on the website are 100% Irish and Bord Bia Quality Assured.  

All sauces and marinades come from small Irish producers including artisans such as Tastefully Yours, a small but innovative business based in Co Waterford. Tastefully Yours were the recipients of a 2011 Bridgestone Award.

The Premium Butcher’s website offers detailed information on everything you need to know about buying meat online, from steps to ordering meat on the website right through to delivery options. 

Through a partnership with Fastway Couriers our team  of butchers now offer “next day delivery” on all orders regardless of where you live in Ireland from Dublin to Cork to Galway to Belfast and every town and village in between! Please See delivery options and conditions

A very competitive delivery rate of €4.95 is charged on orders under €75 and the FREE there after regardless of what county you live in.  

All orders are dispatched each morning from our factory shop in Carroll’s Cross in Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford. If you live in Waterford you can also drop by the shop to view our range.

 

Remember: If you live in the "local area" or indeed the greater Waterford area you can order from our online butcher shop and collect in the store yourself in your own time!

Dawn ChefDawn Chef is our standard range of vacuum packed and portion controlled Beef, Pork and Lamb products. The Dawn Chef product range includes minced, diced, carvery roasting joints and individually portioned steak cuts as well as fresh and frozen burgers.

Dawn Chef products are packed in thermoformed vacuum packs or in DARFRESH®  vacuum skin packs in order to maximise the fresh shelf life.  For example, the Dawn Chef beef steaks have a fresh shelf life of 21 days from pack date.

Dawn Chef products are also available frozen.

We achieved this standard through tried and trusted traditional butchery methods. Each carcass is carefully selected by weight and grade, to your own personal requirements. The result is succulent, tender English beef, which has the texture and flavor expected from a traditionally matured English product.

Our English Beef both 'boneless' and 'bone in beef' is differentiated by:

  • Flavour - all Ridings Reserve English Beef is Achilles hanged, unless otherwise instructed.
  • Delivery - we can deliver 'bone in beef' within five days of slaughter to your specified location
  • Specification - each "bone in cut" contains confirmation of the customer's unique specification for weight, fat class, confirmation grade, sex and traceability
  • Maturation - our steer & heifer beef is matured to a minimum 10-14 days prior to de-boning
  • Selection - Only steer and heifer U & R grades for confirmation, 4L & 4H for fat coverage and weight of sides of beef between 165-185 kg are selected for de-boning
  • Maximum Yield - our beef is butchered and retail trimmed to minimise waste
  • Traditionally Butchered - all our beef is traditionally butchered
